JESSICA C. JONES, MSRI

I am so excited to come in your classroom and introduce the insurance and risk industry to your students.

With over 13 years in the insurance industry, Jessica wishes to give back and bring insightful information to the youth. The insurance industry should be understood by all, either as a consumer or a consumer and a career, every individual should understand the importance of insurance and how it works.

What your students will learn…

Three people sitting at a white round table during a meeting or discussion. The person on the left is a young man with dark curly hair, writing in a notebook. The woman on the right has long dark hair tied back, taking notes. The woman standing in the middle has curly hair and is looking at the young man, with a laptop and a plate of pastries and a glass of orange juice on the table.
  • Insurance is a financial transaction and can be thought of as such. If you have an insurance policy, you are saving yourself a big financial burden versus having no insurance. Suffering a loss with no insurance can be life-changing if not financially able to sustain the loss.

Three women working together around a laptop in an office setting, with walls painted in dark green, navy blue, and beige, and a potted plant nearby.
  • High school students would be introduced to the possibilities of careers within the insurance and risk industry.

Two people working on laptops at a white round table, with notebooks, a pen, a glass of water, and a small plant in the center, and a person taking notes while the other has a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll as snacks.
  • The course is designed for students to ask questions to the facilitator and gain clarity of the information provided throughout the course.
